PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE CRACKLE

Snap, Crackle, Pop! This Peanut Butter & Chocolate Crackle recipe brings back so many childhood memories. The good ol’ chocolate crackle, this time made a little bit healthier! It’s quick, easy, and super delicious!  This recipe was inspired by @marikaday’s original chocolate crackle. Instead I have put my little spin on it, making it a dairy free alternative as well.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups rice puffs
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp cacao powder. .
1/4 cup macadamia oil
1/4 cup honey/ maple syrup
100g nuttelex
50g dark chocolate, dairy free

TOPPING (optional):

Pics Peanut butter
50g melted dark chocolate, dairy free.


METHOD:

1. Combine all ingredients into a medium sized bowl, mixing thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
2. Transfer mixture into a square baking tin (lined with baking paper) and press down on the mixture FIRMLY (I mean put some elbow grease into it!). A good little tip here is to press the mixture down using the base of a glass cup.
3. Freeze for 10 mins and then add toppings of choice – I used my favourite peanut butter and some melted dark chocolate (dairy free).
