Chocolate Brownie Protein Balls

This recipe is for those who are looking for a few extra calories and protein to help with muscle building and bulking i.e. a regular gym goer.  The balls taste amazing and we use True Protein WPI90 protein powder to give the recipe an extra hit of protein and flavour.

Chocolate Brownie Protein Balls Recipe

Ingredients (makes 8 balls).

  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds.
  • 1/2 cup of almond meal.
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate protein powder (WPI90 is what we use)
  • 1 cup of soaked Pakistani dates (drained)
  • 1 tsp of honey.
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  • a pinch of sea salt.

Method

  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 10 mins.
  2. Blend all the ingredients in a blender.
  3. Roll the dough into balls in your hands.
  4. Pop in the fridge for 30 mins before eating.

Enjoy 1-2 a day as part of a healthy balanced diet.
